LaRita got her start in radio as a kid in D. C., when her aunt called the local stations and asked the jocks to let her niece introduce songs over the air. Years later when they moved to Memphis, LaRita became a teen reporter and then part time jock before attending college in Los Angeles.
Other radio credits include voice work and/or broadcast journalism for Lee Bailey, Tavis Smiley, Brad Sanders, TV-One, One United Bank and Tom Joyner on It’s Your World, currently heard on www.ItsYourWorldSoap.com.
Her credits include stints at KGFJ, KYPA and AFRTS (Armed Forces Radio and Television Services) Her AFRTS days took
her all over the world and garnered life long memories and friends.
